This section covers research that was completed on the location of the Hugh Blevins Home. As of January 2024, several individuals were interviewed who remember seeing the building before it was torn down in the mid-1950s.

The front of the building had 4 windows at top.
According to the Library of Congress photos, the front of the building faced north.

Photos of Old Blevins Tavern. It is not know for certain that the tree in the back left is actually the "Big Oak on Blevins School property" as is written on the photo.
